37 weeks down!!

Wow! I can't believe we are at this point already. It seems like yesterday that Karli came running down the stair, with the biggest smile, to tell me the news. We are both very excited, and can't hardly wait for the next few weeks to come so we can meet our new baby girl. Karli has been great through the entire pregnancy, and I know she will be an excellent mother. She's so loving and caring I don't know how she couldn't be a great mom, and if I do say so myself a pretty cute mother to be. Don't you think so. The first picture is of her on week 34, and the second is on week 36. It's crazy what a difference two weeks makes.

Love ya babe, you look great.

Happy Birthday Zach

Last weekend we celebrated Zach's 33rd (wow) birthday! Zach picked our activities for the day and we had a great time. He went fishing in the morning with his good friend and our new pediatrician Bart and caught his first walleye on a flyrod! While fishing I was making Zach's one and only request for the day, his traditional birthday cake, Kim's delicious Red Velvet Cake! We then decided to go to the Dark Knight which was a little long, but incredible. I suggest everyone should go see it. After that we headed to Misty's (Lincoln's premiere steakhouse) with my parents and brother. Zach had never been there before so we decided it was time for him to try it out. MMMM MMMM! We then headed back to our place for a little cake and ice cream. It was pretty good for my second attempt. It was a long, but very enjoyable day. Zach is such a wonderful husband and person and he deserves the best so I hope he had a fun day! Love You.

4th of July Fun!

We hope everyone had a wonderful 4th. Karli and I had a blast. We started our weekend Thursday night with our friend Fenton and his family. And wouldn't you know, Karli (33 weeks and counting) was out in the middle of the street lighting off fireworks.
Friday morning we went to Karli's parents, where we ate a great brunch. Nice job Trix. Shot off a few parachutes, they were actually pretty impressive, then headed home for mama to rest for the big night. That night we traveled to our traditional spot, the homestead of one Jeff O'Gorman. It is here where Karli finds the joy and excitement she so craves on the 4th. This is Karli's favorite holiday, and I mean her very favorite, so we usually have a good time. This year we had some excellent fireworks. Our host and his partner in crime supplied a great show, as usual.

Saturday we went Schuyler, NE. Karli's family owns a cabin on a sandpit lake off the Platte River. We spent the day swimming and fishing, with friends and family. For the first time we were glad not to spend the night. It was a long and tiring weekend, we looked forward to our own bed. We heard fireworks for the 4th were not so good in other places so we wanted to post some of our firework pictures and videos.
